So I'm back on the radio tomorrow promoting my upcoming show with Amy-Jo. We will be on at about 2 o clock on BRFM 95.6fm. You can log in online and listen via your computer :-) My debut single will be getting an airing as well as lots of exciting information about my management deal!
Ticket sales are going steadily, they are just about to be unleashed on to the members of the Heritage Centre, so hopefully they will be sold out once they get offered to them! *Fingers Crossed*
Decorations are ordered, oh yes! We have put a lot of thought in to how we wanted to decorate the venue as we really wanted it to be intimate and romantic for everyone to relax and enjoy! If I could fill the venue with sofas and chase lounges, then it would be perfect! Haha!
Amy and I have decided to make individual promotional posters for us each to have at the side of the stage.., well, I am not the most artistic person and would probably make it looks cheesy rather than classy and raise comments like "I want to book that girl". So my amazing friend Esther is going to design mine for me :-) Esther is such a talented girl, and is really really artistic and fantastic on a computer! So THANK YOU ESTHER :-)
I've had a lot of interest on my Star Now (www.starnow.com/yazimay) account and am getting emails quite regularly. I'm going to sit down this weekend and work out exactly what offers I can accept and decide who to work with. If I could work with everyone then I would - it's just fitting it in!
My official facebook page has now gone live at www.facebook.com/yazimayofficial . Once I get to a decent amount of followers, I will start uploading recordings of me singing and the mastered copies of my songs.

When I first met with Downtown Artists, they told me how long this process would be. I need to really put my patience hat on and keep working my butt off to try and get the recognition I (hopefully) deserve!! The next step I think I need to take is to actively look for gigs and appearences….so if anyone knows anyone who needs a singer…send them my way!
